Grateful Giving is a campus-wide giving opportunity starting Monday, November 16. Our week of Grateful Giving is driven in part by a captivating question: how can there be such a pronounced sense of gratitude on our campus in a year characterized by turbulence and stress? The answer is simple and profound: God’s common graces like being able to attend school are revealed for what they really are: extraordinary.

As we celebrate reasons to be grateful at Regents, we have an opportunity to express gratitude by giving – first to our people, then to our place. Unlike an annual fund campaign, Grateful Giving, is simply a chance to bless Regents with an extraordinary giving effort. The target amount is $285,000 as detailed below. This amount is not so much a goal, but a target, as it is impossible to connect gratitude with the ability to be generous. Regardless of the amount, we appreciate that all gifts are from equally grateful hearts, and thank you for your consideration as we enter the holiday season.

  • Our People

Our people at Regents are our most valuable asset, and we are grateful for the amazing men and women who are so dedicated to our children.  Friends of Regents is a longstanding, beloved tradition giving Regents families an opportunity to express their heartfelt thanks to all Regents teachers and staff.

This gift has been collected from our community and equally shared among teachers, athletic staff, nurses, and administration at Christmas. Year after year, our employees have been blessed by this outpouring of love and appreciation. Grateful Giving will fund Friends of Regents by practicing the first fruits principle. Every donation to Grateful Giving will go towards Friends of Regents until a determined amount has been reached. We are grateful to ALL Regents faculty and staff for thoughtfully leading, instructing, serving, caring for, and ministering to our precious children.

  • Our Place

After the determined amount is raised for our people, the remainder of the amount raised goes towards various projects across our campus, our place. Last year at the Regents gala, our community gave generously through “paddles up” to improve our campus in several ways, most notably the new athletic field between the Grammar and Rhetoric buildings.  Grateful Giving project priority will be determined by Regents administration depending on need and amount raised. Projects such as the following have been identified as some areas of need this year:

    • Reading Specialist room
    • Enclosed Grammar art porch to create a year-round classroom and meeting space
    • Technology needs
    • Addition of outdoor study space to Logic garden area
    • Security items – parking lot cameras and pathway lighting
    • Concessions trailer replacement
    • More robust Regents Speaker Series – hosting thought leaders on parenting and cultural issues from a Biblical perspective.
