  • Why Support the Regents Fund?

Upon the founding of the school, making a Regents education affordable has been a key component of our financial structure.
Affordability of a Regents education has been an ongoing conversation since the founding of our school. We stand on the shoulders of families who had the wisdom to peer into the future and see a fully formed campus with all its opportunities and challenges.

One of those challenges is maintaining a broad economic range of
families while hiring and retaining the most talented teachers to educate children in a beautiful environment that fosters learning and growth. Their solution, in part, was the creation of The Regents Fund.

Generous gifts of money over time form a board-designated fund which resides in an investment account. The fund grows to meet immediate needs by designating 4% towards operating costs each year. The Regents Fund is structured to provide a balanced and diversified approach to the capital markets while also providing the capacity to hold alternative assets such as interests in oil and gas, timber, and real estate. Additional capacity has been made available to accept shares of less liquid, and potentially high growth, equity interests as well.

Genesis tells the familiar story of Joseph who, after rniraculous favor from God is placed in charge of all the grain in Egypt. Having interpreted Pharaoh's dreams, he knew famine was coming so he stored away grain in the fat years to help the people survive during the lean years to follow. This shows the wisdom of saving.
Through contributions and growth, The Regents Fund has grown measurably from $600,000 in 2011 to over $3 million it is today. The Regents Fund has generated over $100,000 to support the Regents mission, including financial assistance, each year. This funding will grow proportionally with the fund's growth. As you consider year-end giving or planning for next year’s budget, please consider our The Regents Fund as a way to benefit and bless the families we greet on the plaza, stand with on the sidelines, and learn alongside in the classroom. Our goal is to increase The Regents Fund to $10 million by 2025, providing $400,000 annually.

Please prayerfully consider giving to The Regents Fund. Our sincere desire is to provide future generations with affordable access to our classical Christian education. The Regents Fund is currently our only vehicle by which today’s gift can be a determining factor for a future family to share in the Regents experience.
