The Arts: A Reflection of Our Hope

Dan Peterson
His name is powerful. As we are in the Christmas season, may you find time to stop and ponder this hope giving gift, who is life changing. He rules in grace!
Tuesday was truly a beautiful day on our campus. It was a joy to see the arts shine through our children, and for glory and honor be given to Christ’s name. The words Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace were placed around the grounds. What powerful words! The prophecy being our hope would be given to us in the form of a child!

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the LORD Almighty
will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7
