For most families, the application process begins through an introduction to our school. You may have heard about us from friends, family, fellow church members, or perhaps you located us online or simply drove by our campus. We recommend you schedule a campus visit to learn more about our school and community. We offer a variety of events to help you know and understand Regents through various viewpoints. See the "Open House and Tours" tab for a list of upcoming activities. Our K-12 Preview Night, held in November, allows a comprehensive look at our K-12 program with our faculty available for your questions. For more information, call us at 512-899-8095, email us in the Admissions Office, or you caninquire now online.
Step 2: Understanding Us
We want your family to fully embrace our classical Christian program. In order to make the most of your partnership with us, it is important to understand what we do and why we do it. We require all families to read the following booklets prior to their interview:
Students applying for grades K-6 participate in an academic and/or developmental assessment held at Regents. Students applying for admission to grades 5-12 are required to take the ISEE entrance exam. You can identify testing dates and locations at www.iseetest.org. Regents administers this test several times during the year. Other testing times may be available. Check with the admissions office if posted testing dates are not feasible.
Step 5: Interview
The family or parent interview is a vital part of the admissions process. Once all paperwork, testing, and reading are complete, we meet with both parents (and students applying to grades 7-12). The interview provides a time for us to get to know one another more personally and an opportunity for you to ask questions.
Step 6: Timing
Typically, the process begins in the fall of the academic year prior to the year your student hopes to attend. Applications are due by mid-January for decision notification in mid-March. All paperwork, interviews, and testing must be complete by mid-February. After priority admissions are complete, applications are accepted and evaluated on a rolling basis and spaces are offered as available. If an applicant and family are found to be admissible, but no space is available at that time, you have the option of remaining in a waiting pool to be considered should a spot become available.
