B. Sterling Archer

Orchestra Director
B. Sterling Archer is the orchestra director at Regents School of Austin. Additionally, he is the Associate Music Director at All Saints Presbyterian church. He is married to Jess Archer and they have two children, Ace and Iris. He studied classical music at New Mexico State University and at Wheaton Conservatory in Chicago.

He’s an award winning singer/songwriter, known as “B. Sterling” (without last name Archer), has recorded three albums (you can find them at www.bsterlingmusic.com or any of the streaming platforms: search simply for “B. Sterling”).  He loves to perform live and play music at venues, festivals, and house concerts in Austin and around the country.   He has long been inspired by great poets and songwriters of the 20th century: Bob Dylan, Greg Brown, Billy Collins, Robert Earl Keen, and Sting to name a few and recently Jason Isbell.  He loves all genres of music especially folk/americana and old country.  Recently, B. Sterling has been enrolled in seminary courses with Reformed Theological Seminary to foster his love and understanding of theology.
