Knights in the Spotlight: Cate and Clay Pruitt

Cate and Clay Pruitt lead Student-Led Prayer every Wednesday morning in hopes that their peers would experience God in a new way, the same way they did when several students started began Student-led prayer a few years ago.
Coming together in prayer is an easy way to make God known in our school and gives students the opportunity to pray for things going on in and outside of their lives as students. When Cate leads a short devotional, students hear Psalms of gratitude and thankfulness for the faithfulness of God. Every Wednesday, a challenge is placed on their peers to encourage them to live out their faith in every aspect of their lives. While students sit on the floor of the Library and look at the sun peaking over the Austin skyline, God is making himself known in students’ lives. Thanks to Cate and Clay , the School of Rhetoric is turning to God and coming together in prayer. Thank you Cate and Clay for continuing the tradition of praying over our school and setting a Christ-like example for underclassmen as well as their peers.
