| The Friends of Regents Christmas Gift is a long standing Regents tradition. As the season of giving approaches, the Friends of Regents gift has served as a blessing to our families as well as our faculty and staff. It serves a unique purpose in allowing families to donate to one place and bless all of the faculty and staff at Christmas time. |
| how does it work? |
| The total amount collected from the Regents community is distributed among the entire Regents faculty and staff. This is a way for our community to celebrate many of the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make Regents the special place it is: administrative, facilities, librarians, nurses, athletic staff, RSNC staff, as well as our wonderful teachers that interact with your children daily. This project allows families to donate to one place. |

| The goal of the gift is to have 100% of the families participate. No gift is too small or too large. |
| is our gift tax deductible? |
| Yes, any donation made to the Friends of Regents fund is tax deductible and it will be included in your annual giving statement for tax purposes. |
| Are we still permitted to give gifts to our children’s teacher or other staff members especially close to our family? |

Many parents wish to express their appreciation to the teacher at the end of the year with a gift. This kind of giving is done individually and discreetly. Please refrain from giving class gifts unless it is something that does not require a monetary contribution from everyone. The Friends of Regents provides assistance in the matter of gift-giving, and we encourage all parents to participate. The Friends of Regents organize a cash gift Christmas love offering, which is shared with all the faculty and staff. Every family determines how much they can be involved. This is an excellent way to show the faculty and staff how blessed we are to have them. |
