Life in the Grammar School
The School of Logic is about playful curiosity. School athletics begin in earnest; Spirit Fridays allow for some expression beyond standard uniforms; Fine Arts and PE electives cater to different interests and strengths; and our teachers emphasize hands-on learning, both in and out of the classroom.

Weekly chapel gathers Lower Grammar(K-2), Middle Grammar (3-4), and Upper Grammar (5-6) students for prayer, worship, and fellowship. We hear from guest speakers and have a theme each year. Several times each year, we join as a whole school to celebrate God's faithfulness. Parents are always welcome. |

As a K-12 school, we recognize the privilege of pairing older with younger students for mentorship and relationship. Buddy Days allow intentional connection between homerooms, with multiple opportunities during the school year to foster discipleship with fun and meaningful activities. |

Scripture memory is an essential at Regents. Each grade has its own focus, and works on memory throughout the year. Regularly, children recite in chapel, proclaiming the word of God to their peers. For more than 30 years, our favorite tradition is Ephesians Chapel. First graders memorize Ephesians 1, second graders memorize Ephesians 2, and so on. At this end-of-year chapel, the full book is recited for our full Grammar School community. |

We believe play is an essential part of education. Children spend time outside daily, whether on the playground; creating imaginative games in the woods; in the gaga ball pit; or with various games on the plaza. |
| Garden Days |

Garden days are part of our science curriculum for all Grammar School students. In the garden we see our creative God at work, as we observe plants in various stages of development and participate in planting and weeding. Nature studies include pond life, animal life, and the garden. |

Each grade includes theme days to correspond with our curriculum. From the Pooh Picnic to the Medieval Feast to Winn-Dixie day, children dress up and engage with a full day of activities and special meal in a hands-on learning opportunity. |

Beginning in the first grade, students may choose a hot lunch from Cafe Regents, or bring lunch from home. Classes eat together, often outside. |

In the Grammar School, grade levels serve in particular categories. From serving the elderly, to refugees, to orphans and those experiencing homelessness, children and families partner to be the hands and feet of Jesus . |
| Class Trips |

Beginning in the 4th grade, our curriculum includes overnight field trips. From Bamburger Ranch, to NASA, to the Texas Hill Country, our students bring to life their history and science studies. Parent chaperones assist in learning.
