Kristin had a unique upbringing that shaped her intellectually and emotionally. With her father’s job in the oil & gas industry, Kristin and her family lived in Egypt, Norway, and Holland from the age of 5 until she went to college. With an unyielding desire to capture God's light through drawing and painting, Kristin pursued a BFA in Illustration from the Ringling College of Art & Design. Kristin worked in the private sector for many years as a graphic designer and illustrator before following her life long goal of being an art teacher.

Kristin made the choice to follow Christ at a young age. While growing up in Cairo, she experienced the power of God through prayer with a life-changing miracle. In Cairo, she witnessed extreme poverty & discrimination, as well as the strength of God's people through compassion, generosity, and community.

In her spare time, Kristin loves to draw and spend time with her family. Kristin met her husband on a basketball court in Paris, France. They have two children, both students at Regents.
