Lee serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Regents. Since joining Regents in 2011, Lee has worked to develop and implement a strategic financial planning model as part of the school’s overall operational plan. She leads the day-to-day finance operations of the school, working closely with senior leadership to ensure that the finance function effectively supports mission driven programming and that tuition and contribution dollars are stewarded well.

Born and raised in Nacogdoches, Lee was raised to be a die hard Texas Longhorn fan, making the decision to attend “THE University” in Austin a natural choice, and it was there that she met her husband of 38 years and developed a love for working with numbers and financial analysis. David and Lee were blessed with three daughters who all live in Austin and have added three wonderful son-in-laws and five precious grandchildren in recent years.

Prior to joining Regents, Lee’s professional experience includes managing the business operations for a network of outpatient primary care clinics for the UTMB in Galveston, serving as Director of her church school, and teaching at the elementary level for 15 years. Lee earned her B.B.A. in Finance at the University of Texas and completed graduate studies in Elementary Education at the University of Houston.

David and Lee are active members of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. In her free time, you’ll find Lee spending time with her grandchildren and attending as many UT sporting events as possible.
